My Story
Virtual Performance LLC is me, Michelle Adams. I have over 25 years of experience using technology for business automation and workflow improvements as well as starting a few small businesses.
My journey began when I received my business degree in Finance and Management Information Systems (MIS). My analytical nature found challenge in understanding business opportunities and how to leverage technology.

Here’s my story:
With a business degree in Finance and Management Information System’s I spent over 25 years in corporate, in particular finding technical solutions to automate, streamline and improve operations.
I enjoyed it immensely.
Each day was different and challenging. I ebbed and flowed with ease between the business side and the technical side, understanding in great detail the needs and requirements.
I’ve created rapid solutions to test out new ideas, been a key player in multi-year software development projects and worked early on in start ups.
In 2011, things changed.
I wanted a change and to travel.
A walk on the Camino de Santiago, a 900 mile pilgrimage across Spain, started the ball rolling.
My 6 week walk, led to a
- 2 year career break, where I traveled Europe and Asia and explored my photography passion.
- Cycling self-supported the Great Divide Mountain Bike Trail (a route from the boarders of Canada to Mexico in the US on a mountain bike.)
- Selling all of my belongings and moving from Massachusetts to Bend Oregon.
I know a return to corporate life isn’t for me.
About 4 years ago I decided to test my business knowledge to start my own business. Today, I have two businesses. One is selling and promoting my photography and my second business is Virtual Performance LLC.
Virtual Performance LLC is the result of seeing many business owners struggle with the technical and operational parts of their business. I manage the projects, administration and technical parts of the back office of small businesses and solo professionals.
